Garden Cafe

I love sitting outside at the Garden Cafe. Inside is fun too, though! The food, service, and atmosphere are great. The outside patio is gorgeous when it warms up and the plants and garden come alive. I got the chilaquiles and side of hash browns last time I was there. Yum!

I love coming here specially when there’s seating in the patio. All of their food items are solid. Specially their house biscuits and potatoes! Their coffee is pretty good and love the atmosphere inside and out!

Such an amazing place to celebrate my birthday. My guest & I all had amazing entrees and cocktails. 10/10 experience

Great little place! There wasn't available seating outside in the garden area but the inside was still nice to sit in. Definitely a small space. Our waiter was wondering and the food was absolutely delicious I highly recommend

Garden Cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Dallas. The farm to table menu is delicious and not overly expensive. We have visited many times. The exotic mushroom side and grilled cauliflower appetizer dishes were a hit with everyone tonight. Honestly some of the best you will taste of those dishes. The salmon was perfectly cooked, flaky and flavorful. Pork chops and steaks are also consistently delicious.

The was our first visit here...if you are going to eat here on the weekend, you should make reservations! We were there on a Sunday, and luckily, my wife had made reservations as they weren’t taking walk-ins. We had made reservations to sit outside in the garden area and it was a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Texas Watermelon and Tomato Salad (watermelon, cherry tomato’s, red onion, cucumber, feta and mint vinaigrette) and the Classic meatloaf (with a garden marinara sauce and Parmesan breakfast potatoes). The salad and the meatloaf were really great with fresh ingredients. You probably don’t want to come here if you’re in a hurry....as it’s more of a laid back vibe....but if you’re ready to sit back, enjoy great food and conversation, this is your place...just relax and leave yourself plenty of time as it may take a while for the food to come out. Also, if you are having desert, put your order in early. We ordered the strawberry shortcake after we finished our meatloaf, and it took 20 to 25 minutes to come out. The servers were great, but they may have been a little shorthanded as it seemed the servers were having to literally run at times to keep up. All in all, a great experience. Lastly, it was nice to check out the garden after our meal to see all the things they grow fresh and use for their restaurant.
